Description:

A social media management company is looking for experienced web developers for immediate work. The ideal developer will be an innovative leader who is fluent in software development, mainly focused on website development and Internet application programming using PHP, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS on the LAMP (Linux / Apache / MySQL / PHP) platform. We are looking for someone who has close attention to detail and an understanding of project management best practices.

The on-site position offers 40+ hours a week (contract to full-time). If you are a talented back-end developer and want to have the chance to get in on the ground floor of an exciting start-up we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities:

- Deep understanding and solid experience in Web development, programming/scripting languages and database systems (LAMP, JQuery, etc.)
- Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for dynamic AJAX-based web 2.0 applications.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services/API-based web services
- Experience with AWS (we heavily use S3, EC2, and SQS)
- Experience with Subversion, Linux and the command line a plus

Qualifications:

- 3+ years application development experience
- Design and architecture experience with scalable high-performance systems
- Enjoys the challenges and rewards of an early stage venture and shows a high degree of initiative and passion
